Patients may be required to get medical tests such as pathology tests, blood, saliva, stool and urine etc., to determine the functioning levels of the body. These include hormone, thyroid, digestive, liver, bacterial, and markers for disease. Diet and lifestyle advice is the main focus for Nutritionists and Herbalists and may be substantially different, but compatible to, that offered by doctors and dieticians.
